A coalition of professional athletes, many of whom are dads, have teamed up with
diapers.com
to create “Register to Rebuild,” an effort to help families affected by
Hurricane Sandy. Each athlete
has created his own registry of essential items including diapers,
wipes, baby food, clothing, water, soap, etc. that people can purchase
to go back to specific families or areas in need, designated by the
player. Many
of the families receiving these items lost their homes, are displaced
and working to rebuild.
While many people will be shopping online for the holidays, it’s easy to shop at
diapers.com and help those in need. Anyone who wants to help the athletes fulfill their registries can visit
diapers.com/registertorebuild and select items to purchase, to be provided to the designated families.
