Global Green USA launched a Green School Makeover Competition in partnership with Pureology, and the deadline is coming up September 30th. One grand prize winner will get $65,000 to renovate their school – plus an additional $65,000 worth of technical assistance. Four runner-up schools will get $2,500 to use towards green school renovations.
If your school has budget issues, and you want to see them build a better learning environment, then nominate your school!
The makeover can help provide money for student resources, reduce operating costs by up to 40%, protect student and staff health, and improve student performance (studies confirm test scores improve when kids are in a healthy learning environment).
